Councillor’s Corner - March 2025

Councillor’s Corner

Dear Resident,

I hope you have all kept safe and warm through the winter and are looking forward to the longer, warmer days ahead. I’ve heard from many of you regarding snow removal following this past month’s snowfall events. I continue to work with city staff to make snow removal services better for all residents. Also, thank you to all who attended my recent skating skate event at Downsview Arena. It was fun catching up with all of you, and getting a chance to go on the ice!

The City of Toronto has awarded the contract for the Construction of the New Western North York Community Recreation and Childcare Centre, to be built on Starview Lane. I spoke briefly at City Council’s General Government Committee recently to thank all involved in reaching this agreement, bringing exciting news to Ward 7!

Have you had a chance to check out my new YouTube channel? Residents are always welcome to attend and watch City Council proceedings from the gallery. However, for those who wish to watch from home, Council streams live on YouTube! My office is compiling some highlights from my recent time in City Council, to inform you and keep you connected with how I represent you at City Hall. Scan the QR code and watch from your personal device, right from home.
