Play with electricity and circuitry during this hands-on program! Turn on a light, spin a motor, and choose from hundreds of different projects, or try making your own circuits!

For ages 6 to 12.

A parent or guardian must attend with children.

March Break Programs

March 11, 2 to 3 p.m.: Dash and Dot robotic fun (Ages 6 to 13)

March 12, 2 to 3 p.m.: Button Making (Ages 6-13)

March 13, 2 to 3:30 p.m.: Teen Beading and Bracelet making (Ages 13-17)

March 13, 4 to 5:30 p.m.

PS4 and Wii gaming (Ages 6-16)

March 14, 2 to 3 p.m.: Ping Pong Extravaganza (Ages 5-13)

Girls Coding Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Girls aged seven to 12 are welcome to come have some fun and learn coding. This ongoing program will run for eight weeks. Spaces are limited and registration and a commitment to the entire multi-week session is required. Please contact the library to register.

Parent & Child Drop-In Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to Noon

Join Woodview Park for two hours of play through songs, books, finger play, rhymes and lots of free play time. This program is facilitated by Northwood Neighbourhood Services. A healthy snack is provided for the children. The program is for children (0-5 years of age) and they must be supervised. The program allows parents and caregivers the chance to meet others and play interactively in an early learning environment.

After-School Club

Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Learn and create new things, make friends, and have fun, with STEM-centred crafts and activities! Drop in program for ages 6 to 12 years. Space is limited. Snacks will be provided. The program will not run during March Break.

LEAP After-School Program

Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Come to Woodview Park for two hours of physical activity, trivia and games while building independency skills. The program is facilitated by North York Community House LEAP staff and is intended for children aged 9 to 12 years. Snacks provided. Registration is required with LEAP online on their website. Space is limited.

Seniors Drop-In Wednesdays Noon to 1:30 p.m.

This program provides seniors with an opportunity to socialize with one another in a safe and secure environment. Includes playing games, arts and crafts, and attending health and wellness workshops. Refreshments will be provided by the Northwood Neighbourhood Services.
