Q: When will we be able to travel on the new Finch West LRT?
A: In Spring of 2023.
Q: Where will the Finch West LRT travel?
A: The LRT will run along Finch Avenue connecting Humber College to the new Finch West station. That’s 11 km of rapid new transit.
Q: Who will operate the Finch West LRT once complete?
A:The TTC will operate the Finch West LRT.
Q: Will Finch Avenue have any changes after the LRT is built?
A: Finch Avenue will have bicycle lanes on both sides of the street, with enough room for Light Rail vehicles, cars and cyclists to safely share the road together.
Q: Where will the LRT run?
A: The LRT will run in a dedicated lane in the centre of Finch Avenue West.
Q: How frequently will the LRT run?
A: The LRT is expected to run every five minutes during rush hour and seven to 10 minutes outside of rush hour.
Q: How many people will the Finch West LRT carry per day?
A: The LRT is expected to carry 46,000 people per day.
Q: How many stops will the LRT have?
A: The Finch West LRT will have 18 stops across Etobicoke and North York.
Q: Will the Finch West LRT connect to other transit services?
A: It will have multiple transit connections including the TTC, GO Transit, Mississauga’s MiWay, York’s VivaNext, and Brampton’s Züm services.
